Program and Outreach Specialist
The Program and Outreach Specialist is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and communicating information regarding the complexities of both labor and sex trafficking and using that information to further the Collaborative’s outreach programming and awareness events.
Essential duties include developing and presenting human trafficking awareness programs throughout northeast Ohio; communicating information regarding human trafficking to diverse audiences through social media and other communication channels; managing special awareness events sponsored by the Collaborative; assisting with the Human Trafficking Happens Here Too public awareness campaign, and contributing to the ongoing development of Greater Cleveland’s Coordinated Response to Human Trafficking.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree. A Master’s degree and minimum of three years of successful work experience is preferred. Strong organizational, research, and analysis skills are needed as is the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. The position also requires the ability to travel in northeast Ohio. The qualified candidate will have work experience in education, social services, law, health care, or a related field. A commitment to the mission of the Collaborative and those affected by human trafficking is essential.
